Baru – baru ini, Mall Nipah melaksanakan kegiatan Muay Thai yang digelar setiap pekan dan berlangsung pada area Rooftop Garden Nipah Mall.
General Manager Nipah Mall & Office Building, Richard Abraham mengajak kepada masyarakat yang berminat untuk itu berpartisipasi mengikuti olahraga khas dari Thailand itu.
“Olahraga Muay Thai yang berlangsung di Nipah Mall berkolaborasi dengan club olahraga dari Rusman Mix Martial Art (RMMA). Dalam seminggu pelaksanaannya berlangsung 3 kali, yakni setiap hari Senin, Rabu, dan Jumat. Dimulai pada pukul 19:00 – 21:00 WITA.
“Diharapkan bertambahnya pelaksanaan jenis olahraga ini, mendapat perhatian serta memperoleh respon yang baik dari pengunjung mall dan masyarakat Kota Makassar.
“Apalagi Nipah Mall dilengkapi dengan fasilitas olahraga dalam area mal serta didukung dengan konsep bangunan dengan ruang terbuka sehingga memberikan kontribusi yang cukup penting untuk sirkulasi udara yang segar dan bersih.
“Semoga dapat lebih membangkitkan antusias dan kesadaran masyarakat Kota Makassar untuk lebih rajin berolahraga demi meningkatkan stamina ditengah kondisi pandemi saat ini”, ungkapnya.
Sementara itu, salah satu anggota Club Muay Thai RMMA, Mira juga mengajak untuk masyarakat yang berminat pada olahraga Muay Thai untuk mendaftarkan dirinya.
“Club Muay Thai RMMA membuka pendaftaran bagi siapa saja yang ingin ikut bergabung dalam olahraga tersebut. Biaya yang dikenakan untuk setiap pendaftar senilai Rp 300.000 untuk 12 kali pertemuan selama satu bulan.
“Sementara untuk kalian yang hanya ingin sesekali atau tidak rutin melakukan olahraga Muay Thai, alternatif biaya yang dikenakan senilai Rp 50.000 untuk setiap pertemuan.
