Makassar, karebaindonesia.id – Masyarakat menengah ke bawah sangat terdampak Covid-19, termasuk UMKM Kuliner. Agar promosi produk dapat mengikuti selera masyarakat digital, UMKM Kuliner perlu belajar mengenai Food Photography.

Atas dasar itu, Dosen Prodi Arsitektur, Fakultas Teknik Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar (Unismuh) melakukan Pengabdian Masyarakat dalam Pelatihan Food Photography Bagi Kelompok UMKM Kuliner di Kecamatan Rappocini Kota Makassar. Pengadian masyarakat ini beranggotakan Siti Fuadillah A., Khilda Wildana Nur, dan Andi Annisa Amalia.

Kegiatan Pengabdian telah dilakukan pada Rabu, 14 Oktober 2020 di Aula Emmy Saelan Kantor Kecamatan Rappocini Kota Makassar. Pelatihan Food Photography dari segi pencahayaan, angle atau posisi pengambilan foto yang baik sesuai jenis makanan yang akan difoto, dan styling atau pengaturan yang baik dan tepat dalam pengambilan foto pada makanan.

Setelah pemberian materi para peserta Kelompok UMKM Kuliner kemudian diberikan pelatihan dengan mencoba langsung untuk mempraktekan pemotretan makanan yang telah disiapkan. Dalam pelatihan ini kelompok UMKM langsung diarahkan, dikoreksi dan dievaluasi sehingga peserta dapat lebih memahami jelas tentang Food Photography.

Menurut Dosen Prodi Arsitektur Unismuh selaku pelaksanan kegiatan, Siti Fuadillah mengatakan bahwa kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu menjadi upaya dalam peningkatan kesejahteraan UMKM di tengah pandemi ini.

“Tim Pengabdian ini berharap dengan adanya pengabdian ini Pelaku UMKM Kuliner ini sudah dapat menerapkan pelatihan Food Photography ini kuliner yang mereka jual dan dapat meningkatkan pendapatan mereka dengan hasil foto yang menarik.

“Tak lupa kami berterima kasih kepada LP3M Unismuh Makassar atas kepercayaannya pada kami. Semoga dapat memberi manfaat bagi masyarakat, khususnya penggiat industri kuliner di Makassar,” ujarnya.
