Tolak Lockdown, Jokowi: PPKM Mikro Kebijakan Paling Tepat

Jakarta, karebaindonesia.id – Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) menyatakan pemerintah tetap memutuskan penerapan Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) mikro alih-alih lockdown atau karantina wilayah dalam mengendalikan kasus virus corona (covid-19) di Indonesia.

Jokowi menilai, PPKM mikro merupakan kebijakan paling tepat lantaran tak akan mematikan ekonomi rakyat. Pernyataan Jokowi sekaligus merespons desakan lockdown yang sempat diutarakan beberapa pemerintah daerah, politisi, ahli kesehatan, hingga segenap masyarakat sipil.

“Pemerintah telah memutuskan PPKM mikro masih menjadi kebijakan paling tepat untuk menghentikan laju penularan covid-19,” ujar Jokowi dalam konferensi pers, Rabu (23/6).

Jokowi tak memungkiri banyak desakan lockdown di tengah lonjakan kasus covid-19 saat ini. Namun, menurutnya, PPKM mikro dan lockdown sejatinya memiliki esensi serupa yakni membatasi kegiatan masyarakat.

Hanya saja, lanjutnya, penerapan PPKM mikro saat ini belum menyeluruh di seluruh wilayah dan masih bersifat sporadis.

Untuk itu, ia menginstruksikan kepada seluruh kepala daerah, baik gubernur, bupati, maupun wali kota untuk memperkuat komitmen dalam penanganan covid-19. Jokowi meminta para kepala daerah mempertajam penerapan PPKM mikro di daerahnya masing-masing.

“Optimalkan posko covid-19 yang telah terbentuk di wilayah, desa, dan kelurahan,” kata dia.

Sementara itu, kasus covid-19 di Indonesia terus menyumbang 10 ribu kasus lebih per hari dalam tujuh hari terakhir. Teranyar, data Satuan Tugas Penanganan Covid-19 pada 23 Juni 2021, Indonesia kembali mencetak rekor baru dengan 15.308 kasus dalam sehari.

Jumlah itu menjadi penambahan terbanyak selama pandemi menjangkit Indonesia sejak 2 Maret 2020. Adapun penambahan jumlah kasus covid-19 sehari sebelumnya juga menjadikan kumulatif kasus covid-19 Indonesia tembus 2 juta kasus.

Pada data 23 Juni, provinsi DKI Jakarta menjadi penyumbang kasus terbanyak dengan 4.693 kasus. Provinsi kedua yang menyumbang kasus terbanyak adalah Jawa Barat dengan 2.910 kasus, lalu disusul Jawa Tengah dengan 2.595 kasus, Jawa Timur 873 kasus dan DIY 694 kasus.

Untuk menekan penularan kasus, pemerintah telah memperpanjang penerapan PPKM mikro dengan sejumlah penguatan mulai 22 Juni hingga 5 Juli mendatang.
