Saat ini produk SUV makin populer di dunia, termasuk di Indonesia dimana pada tahun 2019 penjualan SUV Toyota di Indonesia naik signifikan hingga 64% jika dibandingkan dengan tahun 2014 lalu. Di periode yang sama, market SUV Indonesia juga meneningkat 65%.
Produk SUV sudah kian diterima dengan baik oleh masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, Toyota memperluas jangkauan pasar dengan memperkenalkan produk SUV baru yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan gaya hidup dan simbol status sosial yang lebih tinggi bagi pemiliknya.

“Toyota paling laku di dunia adalah Corolla Cross. Total sudah terjual seluruh dunia 48 Jt unit Mobil Toyota pertama yang berhasil menembus pasar Amerika adalah Corolla Cross,” ujar Irwan Effendi.
Sementara itu, Marketing Manager Kalla Toyota, Aswan Amiruddin mengatakan bahwa Unit Toyota SUV kian diminati di Indonesia. Untuk itu Toyota luncurkan Corolla Cross.
“Kami (Toyota) berusaha hadir melengkapi kebutuhan berkendara pelanggan setia Kalla Toyota dengan hadirnya unit SUV terbaru, Toyota All New Corolla Cross,” kata Aswan.
