Transaksi Meningkat di Tengah Pandemi, Bukalapak Cetak Sejarah Baru

Jakarta, Karebaindonesia.id — Dalam rangka meningkatkan dampak positif yang luas kepada masyarakat, serta memberikan akses yang setara untuk menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan mandiri.

Bukalapak terus melakukan upaya menciptakan inovasi terbaru, salah satunya dengan meluncurkan berbagai produk virtual, termasuk di aplikasi Mitra Bukalapak.

Dengan total lebih dari 5.5 juta Mitra Bukalapak, warung tradisional dan agen individu mencatat kenaikan transaksi di bulan Juli tahun ini hingga sekitar 3 kali lipat dari bulan yang sama pada tahun lalu.

Kenaikan ini merupakan yang tertinggi yang pernah dicapai dalam sejarah Mitra Bukalapak.

Pertumbuhan pesat ini juga didukung oleh model bisnis dan ragam produk virtual yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat sekitar domisili para Mitra Bukalapak.

Fitur Arrum Haji, Tabungan Emas, Jutawan, Bayar Tempo, Top Up E-Money serta Setor Tunai diluncurkan pada tahun ini juga dioptimalkan untuk mengatasi kendala minimnya akses terhadap produk keuangan yang selama ini dihadapi oleh para pelaku usaha mikro.

CEO Bukalapak, Rachmat Kaimuddin menjelaskan, Mitra Bukalapak tidak hanya menjangkau masyarakat di perkotaan saja tetapi berada di 477 kabupaten/kota di seluruh Indonesia.

“Kami ingin ini menjadi pendorong untuk perluasan inklusi keuangan hingga ke pelosok, membawa transformasi yang tidak hanya berfokus di kota besar saja sehingga menutup kesenjangan yang ada lewat teknologi,” ungkapnya, Rabu (30/09/2020).

Inisiatif pemberdayaan wirausaha secara mandiri didukung penuh oleh Menteri Ketenagakerjaan, Ida Fauziyah dalam kesempatan yang sama.

Menteri Ida mengapresiasi kolaborasi perusahaan teknologi, perbankan dan keuangan yang diramu untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

“Jika semakin banyak masyarakat yang memperoleh kesempatan berusaha yang lebih mudah, aman dan secara signifikan memberikan kehidupan yang lebih baik, maka pemberdayaan masyarakat dan pergerakan ekonomi akan berjalan seiring dengan optimalisasi teknologi,” imbuh Menteri Ida.

“Ini yang kita harapkan agar masyarakat bisa adaptif dan tetap menang pada situasi pandemi saat ini,” sambungnya.

Hal tersebut juga diakui oleh Ahmad, salah satu ‘juragan’ Mitra Bukalapak yang sudah dua tahun belakangan menekuni penjualan produk virtual.

Dalam kesempatan diskusi media daring hari ini. Ia mengungkapkan manfaat dari produk virtual ini.

“Sehari-hari saya menjual produk virtual melalui aplikasi Mitra Bukalapak yang jadi andalan untuk jadi pemasukan keluarga,” tuturnya.

Lebih lanjut diungkapkannya bahwa kepatuhan pada protokol kesehatan membuat lebih banyak orang membutuhkan produk virtual karena harus tetap bekerja dan terkoneksi dengan orang lain dari rumah.

Oleh karena itu, Mitra Bukalapak harus pandai memanfaatkan peluang dan tidak boleh kalah dalam situasi yang kurang menguntungkan saat ini.
