Makassar, karebaindonesia.id – Kualifikasi PON XX Papua 2021 untuk cabang eksesbisi olahraga Esports Sulawesi Selatan telah memasuki tahap pra PON untuk memperebutkan tiket ke Papua.

Pengurus Esports Indonesia (ESI) Sulsel, mengadakan acara pembukaan Pra PON XX Papua untuk atlet Esports yang akan mewakili Sulsel yang berlangsung di Sekretariat ESI Sulsel di Jalan Hertasning VII Makassar, Senin Pagi (6/9/2021).

Ketua umum ESI Sulsel Brigjen TNI Dwi Surjatmodjo memberikan semangat dan membacakan janji atlet Esports Sulsel yang akan bertarung nantinya di Pra PON XX.

Dwi Surajatmono dalam sambutannya mengharapkan atlet yang mewakili Sulsel nantinya harus berprestasi di kancah nasional.

“Saya harap kepada para atlet harus serius berjuang, dan mengharumkan nama provinsi Sulsel sebagai juara di cabang yang di perlombakan, kami akan dukung penuh kalian.” tegas Dwi yang juga Kepala BIN Sulsel (6/9/2021).

Hal senada disampaikan Sekum ESI Makassar Jul Sandy, yang mengharapkan prestasi dari kontingen Esports Sulsel yang di wakili atlet berprestasi dari Makassar.

“Atlit 3 Cabor esports semuanya dari Makassar, yang telah melakukan kualifikasi ditingkat provinsi, semoga dapat meraih prestasi puncak di PON XX September ini” ungkap Joul.

Diketahui cabang Esports yang akan di pertandingan yakni Mobile Legends, Free Fire, PES, Lokapala dan PUBGM.
