Wisudawan Terbaik Unismuh Hanya Raih IPK 3,29, Mahasiswa: Sangat Konyol!

Makassar, karebaindonesia.id – Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar kembali sukses menggelar acara Wisuda Sarjana dan Pascasarjana yang bertempat di Balai Sidang Muktamar, (Rabu, 13/10/2021). Jumlah wisudawan/wisudawati sebanyak 1390 orang. Di acara wisuda yang ke-74 kali ini menetapkan mahasiswa dari Fakultas Kedokteran yakni Darmianti, Dn. sebagai Wisudawan terbaik tingkat Universitas.

Menariknya, Darmianti meraih gelar wisudawan terbaik cuma mendapat Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) senilai 3,29. Sebuah nilai IPK yang tergolong tidak “cum laude” bagi kalangan akademisi.

Hal ini tentu mengundang banyak perdebatan di kalangan mahasiswa Unismuh Makassar terkhusus bagi peserta wisudawan/wisudawati yang merasa lebih berprestasi dengan nilai cum laude tetapi tidak terpilih sebagai wisudawan terbaik.

Menurut pimpinan kampus, salah satu alasan Darmianti ditetapkan sebagai wisudawan terbaik bukan dilihat dari IPK-nya saja, tetapi juga dari jenjang kader Kemuhammadiyahannya.

Darmianti, Dn. merupakan mahasiswi dari Fakultas Kedokteran angkatan 2017 kelahiran Sarammae, 22 Juni 1999. Sampai saat ini, Darmianti memang dikenal aktif berkegiatan di salah satu organisasi otonom Muhammadiyah dan baru-baru ini telah menjadi peserta pada Latihan Intstruktur Madya Nasional Ikatan Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah di Sulawesi Barat bulan lalu.

Meski demikian, hal ini tetap saja mendapat perhatian dari banyak pihak, khususnya dari mahasiswa yang masih menjalani semester berjalan dan para alumni. Mereka menilai pemilihan wisudawan terbaik kali ini sangatlah di luar dugaan dan sukar dipercaya. Seperti postingan dari salah satu mahasiswa berinisial AS melalui story WhatsApp, ia bahkan tak tanggung-tanggung menilai bahwa pemilihan wisudawan terbaik Unismuh sangatlah konyol.

“Sistem pemilihan wisudawan terbaik di kampus Unismuh sangatlah konyol. Kriterianya hanya berdasarkan jenjang kader Kemuhammadiyahan (plus siapapun yang punya hubungan dekat).”
