Jakarta, karebaindonesia.id – Wakil Ketua Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPRD) Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, Syaharuddin Alrif mendapatkan penghargaan dari Kementerian Pertanian (Kementan). Acara penghargaanì yang bersamaan dengan peringatan HUT RI Ke-75 Tahun itu berlangsung di Kantor Kementerian Pertanian Republik Indonesia, Jakarta pada Senin 17 Agustus 2020.
Syahar, sapaan karibnya yang adalah seorang Petani asal Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang, Sulawesi Selatan ini menerima penghargaan langsung dari menteri pertanian sebagai Petani Porang Inspiratif 2020. Penghargaan tersebut diserahkan langsung oleh Menteri Pertanian Republik Indonesia Syahrul Yasin Limpo.
Syaharuddin Alrif dalam sambutannya setelah menerima penghargaan tersebut, mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Kementan atas apresiasi ini. Sebagai petani, dirinya ingin bisa terus bermanfaat kepada sesama manusia, bangsa dan negara.
“Terima kasih kepada Menteri Pertanian Syahrul Yasin Limpo beserta seluruh jajaran kementerian pertanian atas apresiasi ini, ini kupersembahkan untuk seluruh petani di tanah Sulawesi Selatan. Penghargaan ini semakin membuat Saya sebagai petani porang lebih semangat bertani dan bisa menjadi lebih bermanfaat kepada para petani petani lainnya guna untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat Indonesia khususnya masyarakat Sulawesi Selatan,” jelasnya dalam sambutannya yang dilansir Pedomanrakyat.com pada Senin, 17 Agustus 2020 kemarin.
Saat ini, Syaharuddin Alrif telah memfasilitasi masyarakat sulsel untuk memulai menanam porang. Menurutnya bertani porang harus memiliki semangat kerja yang harus total agar hasilnya juga luar biasa.
“Penghargaan ini semoga bisa memotivasi petani petani kita untuk terus lebih giat bekerja. Di perkebunan porang kami juga telah banyak memfasilitasi petani yang ingin bertani porang, mulai dari penyediaan bibit bahkan sampai penjualan hasil porang kami akan fasilitasi, tentu kerja seperti ini dibutuhkan konsistensi dan semangat kerja agar hasilnya mengembirakan, Jangan malu jadi petani,” lanjutnya.
Selain Syaharuddin Alrif, Kementan juga memberikan penghargaan kepada petani dan penyuluh sebagai garda terdepan di sektor pertanian sebagai bentuk apresiasi dan untuk memotivasi mereka yang terus berjuang digaris terdepan di sektor pertanian, seperti Petani Padi, Petani Jagung, Petani Kedelai, Petugas PBT, Petugas POPT dan Masyarakat Tani lainnya.[]
